I've always been passionate about mental health and the importance of emotional well-being. Growing up in Canada as an Arab, I became deeply aware of the stigma surrounding mental health within my community. This understanding was further shaped by my experiences working in the Middle East in my 20s, where I saw how cultural barriers often prevent people from seeking support. These experiences inspired me to become a therapist and create a safe, supportive space for individuals to share their struggles without judgment. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with children, youth, and adults in various capacities, deepening my understanding of diverse experiences and challenges. My journey has been guided by empathy and a commitment to helping others feel seen, heard, and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.
Life is full of transitions, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Whether you're navigating personal struggles, feeling overwhelmed, or seeking positive change, I'm here to support you. As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel truly seen and heard. Together, we'll work toward helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.
I use a person-centred approach, tailoring our work to your unique needs and goals. Rooted in empathy, I meet you where you are, helping you process challenges, explore options, and develop strategies that work for you. Therapy isn't about fitting a mold; it's about creating a path that feels right.
I work hard to build trust and create a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to come as they are, and together, take steps towards health and recovery.
